Great Speaker

Bought this because of the bluetooth feature. Works great with my Driod 3 using the bluetooth. It has quite a range. I had my phone about 40 yards away from the tower and it was still sync and loud. The only thing that I didn't like is that there is no grill or cover to cover the speakers. My 1 yr old daughter decided to push a couple of the cones in. Other then that it is a great tower for the price.

I was looking for a Bluetooth speaker system that I could play my tunes on (a wide variety of genres) in my study at home. I found what I was looking for.
Let me say that I deduct one star (1/2 star if I could) for the sound quality. It is pretty darn good, but not fantastic. This unit originally retailed for $500, so by that standard, I would expect something a tad better.
At the current price I purchased this at (~$160), I could not be happier. (I probably wouldn't be happy paying $500 for such a system.) It fits nicely in the corner of my study, was easy to assemble, and has good sound coming from it. It seems to be able to get fairly loud, though I did not test in an open room.
One annoyance is that the included remote does not work if my iPhone is Bluetoothed to the unit. In this case, I have to control the music & volume manually from my phone. Not a huge drawback, so I do not deduct any stars, but I'm not sure why the designers couldn't figure out a way to make that work. (Was that too many double negatives?!)
Overall, a very solid 4/5 stars, and I would highly recommend at the sub-$200 price point, especially for someone looking for a Bluetooth-enabled speaker system.
