Better than hearing aids for TV

I have severe hearing loss, but thankfully it is a type that responds well to amplified sound via hearing aids, etc. I can finally understand all of the words being spoken on the television shows and movies I like to watch. My wife who has good hearing even asks me to tell her what someone just said on the TV....role reversal for sure. I have had my TV ears for about 4 months and I have no problems whatsoever. I also bought TV ears for my 84 year old mother who also loves them as she can also hear her audio books through her TV with them. Very pleased.

Love TV ears but one headset broke immediately

We use these every night with our TV addicted 9yo after the baby goes to sleep. My husband has very mild hearing loss and likes to use them so we can keep the volume low. the on/off volume knob on one of our headsets broke right away. I have contacted the seller for a replacement within the 90 day guarantee window so hopefully we won't have any difficulty. My 9yo does complain that they are uncomfortable after awhile but I chose these instead of the over-the-ear sets because I was afraid they would be too large for her. One nuisance is the buzzing feedback you get on all sets when one person uses the iPhone near a headset. I do everything on my iPhone so this is a big drawback for me. I have to put it on airplane mode when I wear TV ears.
